Overview
A quieter way to live together.
The Courtyard House explores how a simple central garden can connect shared family spaces while allowing moments of privacy. Natural materials, carefully placed openings, and a restrained palette help the home feel grounded in its landscape.
The Brief
Create a comfortable family home with a strong relationship to the outdoors, clear circulation, and spaces that can adapt over time.
The Approach
The plan is organized around a planted courtyard. Living areas open toward the garden, while private rooms are positioned for calm and separation. Timber, stone, and soft neutral finishes bring warmth without distracting from the architecture.
