Room to slow down.
The Stillroom reworks a compact apartment into a series of calm, tactile rooms. Every surface was chosen for how it feels under hand and how it holds the changing light through the day.
The Brief
Turn a busy, cluttered apartment into a restful home for reading, cooking, and hosting small gatherings.
The Approach
We simplified the layout, built storage into the walls, and limited the palette to oak, limewash, and linen. Lighting is layered and low, so evenings feel as considered as mornings.
